What allergens may be present in your products?
24 Carrots makes products in our baking facility containing wheat flour, triticale, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, and sesame seeds. We do not add soy or sulphites to our products; however some ingredients we use in our baking contain soy and or sulphites. Please contact the bakery if you have questions regarding the ingredients in a specific product.

Do you make gluten-free products?
No. All our products contain wheat flour, with the exception of Chocolate Macaroons and Peanut Butter Balls. However all our products are made in the same facility so Chocolate Macaroons and Peanut Butter Balls may contain trace amounts of wheat flour.
Do you make sugar-free products?
Yes and no. Many of our bread products do not contain sugar. However, we do not make any sweets, such as cookies, squares, cakes that are sugar-free.
Do you make pies?
Yes, we now carry a selection of 8" and 10" frozen, ready to bake pies from Apple Valley Foods.
Do you make wedding cakes?
Yes. A scheduled consultation with our Pastry Chef is required before we can provide a quote.

Will you modify a recipe to meet a specific need?
No. Our recipes have been developed, tested, and perfected over time. We are not able to make modification for an individual order.
Can I pre-order products that you carry in your Bake Shop?
Yes. You can call us or visit our Bake Shop to place an order. We do not accept orders by e-mail. Place your order by 3:00 PM and allow 2 days notice for sweets and 1 day notice for breads. For example, an order for muffins placed by 3:00 PM on Tuesday will be available for pick up on Thursday morning. An order for a loaf of bread placed by 3:00 PM on Tuesday will be available for pick up Wednesday morning. We can also set up a standing order if you would like to place a regular order. Payment is required at the time of ordering. Visa, MC, and AMEX are accepted over the phone, plus cash and Debit if ordering in person. We do not accept pre-orders without payment.
Where is your Bake Shop located?
Our Bake Shop is located in our baking facility at 3200 Kempt Rd in the north end of Halifax. We are not located right on the road, but in a small complex. So watch for the large 3200 Kempt sign and then turn into the parking lot. You’ll see our big orange BAKERY sign on the right side of the parking lot.
Can I buy your products at grocery stores?
Yes. We sell a selection of our products at several grocery stores in Halifax and the Wolfville area. Please click here for a complete list.

Do you sell to wholesale customer?
Yes. This is a major part of our business. We supply our products to restaurants, hotels, universities, hospitals, and more. Call us to get started!

We are a local, family owned and operated, independent business, making delicious baked goods since 1994!
Can I call and set aside product from your Bake Shop?
Yes, you may call during store hours to hold product for same day pick up. Payment at the time of your call will be required.
